Artist Statement

Making art is opening to one’s inner world and then committing the time and attention to producing a piece that may never be valued. It is an intersection of the intention and capabilities of the artist. When original work is presented, a viewer must bring his attention to the looking. In that looking the responses of his heart and mind can determine if the work is or isn’t nourishing.
